Flad The Inhaler (1699km): Best day of this Hatteras week! Bonus day. The wind finallly came up and the 6.0 Ezzy Infinity on the Starboard Carve 135 was just right. Sailed most of the time without cams in the sail. Got tired and took a break and put the cams back in. Big difference in the stability of the rig! Could not get any good speed runs either way, however. Not sure why. Maybe the eel grass caught between the slight opening between the weed fin and the bottom of the board. | ||||||||||||||||||

Peter (48505km): Just as I was starting to have some flat water fun, I ran aground at full speed, bending the boom and putting a big hole in the sail 3 miles from shore. No problem sailing back, but had to go to a smaller sail, and stayed inside in the choppy waters for the rest of the day.
