Marko CRO-133 (9022km): Savudrija bay, bura 10-30 knots, falcon 80 - blade 6.3 - sting2 30 Great start of the session with high tide and pretty constant wind (but not constant enough for @500). This spot works really good with high tide but I was not really powered enough with 6.3... 7.0 would be better. Had one decent gust which took me to new PB on 500m - 34.88 knots! I think this is the fastest ever in Adriatic see :) After a small break, we did one more session but conditions were really bad, tide has gone, wind direction shifted to north and it was really choppy and gusty. Super happy about the K brothers improving their PBs for couple of knots! Mitko, I hope that your gps will come alive so that you can put your score soon! Marko really made me think about fins...he put his slingshot 22 by mistake (instead of sting32) in his isonic 94 and made 35 knots right away! Maybe I should also try slingshot instead sting...it would help with seaweed for sure | ||||||||||||||||||
Marko Kavcic (2639km): Secovlje - Savudrijska vala isonic 94, Mauisails TR-8 6.6, slingshot 22! manta 74, Mauisails TR-8 5.5, slingshot 25 Yes, the fin looked good to me. Amazingly the slingshot 22 did work perfectly downwind, surely I didn't have the best angle upwind (-15°) but no spinouts. The sails were easy, the spot worked but had to wait for the wind. Went 35 on isonic really easy. Then tried Mitko's equipment - manta and TR8 5.5 which was even easier and nice! Big thanks!!! Have to say that other Marko goes 38 really easy and like nothing. He was a little ill. Maybe his temperature was 38 and needs to be 40 to go 40 :-) So stoked about the session, couple of friendly locals and JP the weatherman came. |
