Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Arrived at low tide and looked good.....before I had set up the wind had dropped but still worth a try.

Billy arrived as I was coming out of the water and not long after Roudy and Simmo turned up....

left them on the beach waiting for the wind to come in.

iS117W, 8.6 Blade, 46 Sting II - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU 5 - 20kn WSW

Don't get many sailable offshore winds but today was an exception.  Absolutely magic day here and great to wash a nasty hangover away with what was a good first 40minutes but alas that quickly disappeared with the wind (was looking at a pretty decent hour too)  First real go with the Sting and it completely transformed the board.  Never let go and pointed well..  Best run including the Nm was the first off the beach.

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU     Had to sail on my own today, but eventually Paul came out and then Mal and  KiterBob.     Bright sunshine and moderate wind with a few holes.     5.9m Loft 02 and 116l Screamer.

Nautical Mile Mission Day today

Sailed with Kel on Arlington .

Getting there was fun Foot in mouthFoot in mouth

Boat ride out was one of the roughest I've endured !!

Gear ISO 80 venom 30 RSR E 4 5.8

Bit underdone on the NM run but very happy with the results.

Went small today because of the hell chop & the brutal Channel crossing .

Wind 20-25 SE .

Bizarre finish to the today -hit a waterlogged coconut on my very last run at ~34 knots -went over the front & snapped the boom head.So glad that didnt happen out wide ...!!

Green Island, QLD, AU

Great Day sailing with Cam at Arlington and Green!

Rough as guts getting to the island in Cams tinny, then rougher still sailing fron Green to Arlington, but worth the effort in the end.

Wind had a bit to much east for really good Nms but still ended up with a Pb so very happy!

Used my 2012 Isonic 90 Sting2 34 and Overdrive 6.0Cool

Port news, hit the beach about 2o'clock  with Ian Valey one of the hot shot sailors from the tablelands.Wind was a bit on the soft side at first so we sailed south to kite beach.Wind hooked in to a very plesent 15 to 18kts with a few nice 20kts gust out wide, had a fun session blasting all arvo in a choppy sea on big gear'7.3m sail 125lt AHD and big ass fin''.Ian had a wipe out and hurt his arm so he pulled up a bit early and did some photography on the beach. I played as hard as i could till about 530,dropped a gybe and found out how cold the water was so blasted home to get warm,Think i am getting soft..Iam getting Furstrated with my GPS as it is still not working, put a new card in it and gave it to the the 'good wife' to reformat it,But still not working..May have to give it to one of the Ledgens and see if they can fix it,Maybe Hoppy Bob..New board should arrive next week.'Fanatic Falcon 101'.. Cheers Ed...

Onya Capt and Cam. Another blistering effort again from our two resident mad men....Wink You to Saus - glad you finally found a draught to play in. Sat round on Hollaways for 1 1/2 hr waiting for the predicted southerly change to hit, watched Freddy bob around for a bit, Rowdy and Simmo turned up all gun ho and were quickly silenced. Was lucky just to get a chat in b4 calling it a day. Hopefully once I finished my chores this morning, will head upto Port D for a sail with Eddy.

Good to seee Kurrimine turning it on for the Ledgends. Have a great week guys.

Take care all and see you on the water. Billy
