Typical gusty westerly although good to be on the water close to home, its been a while. Wind came away  probably a good 25 knots not long after we rigged, first couple of runs way over done but backed off pretty quickly to 10 - 20 max.

Opted to take out the 110l board in the gusty conditions, and threw in a 30cm vector slalom weedy to see if the board would handle this small a fin. Tried as hard as I could to make it let go but rock solidCool cant believe how good these fins are in the couple of times that I have used them.

Any day over 30kn is a good day, especially with FA TOW.

Would love to get this place to line up properly as the results should be good for us hacks.

Manta 110l, Overdrive 6m & 30 vector slalom weedy

One of the best sails i,ve had in a long time and the 6.6 was smoking today. Went to 45 today instead of the Pit as the forcast called for a westerly for most of the day with a very high low tide. The low was so high that we could sail over most of the sand banks, except the one that Mick hit Wink.

The chop wasn,t too bad either except when Richie came out.....Tongue out A good fun workout with the fitness stuff starting to pay off.

Think it added a bit of character and definition (he needs some of bothWink) Like you said to me plenty of times old boy that what I am he's a work horse not a show pony, that position is already that up by someone else in their teamTongue outKiss
