When I pulled in to the south side at Fogland just before 2:00, I saw a such a line of jonesin' windsurfers, like a bunch of strung out drug addicts waiting on a corner for their connection, a no-show who was maybe stuck in traffic on the other side of town. The wind connection was worth the wait, even though the shit was no way close to what was promised for almost a week. Good couple of hours plus of sailing on a 7.5 Aerotech and a 135 Starboard Carve even though I had to punch the battens with my fist after every port jibe because the tiny boom cutout always catches on almost any boom when the sail is rotated. Sailed for half an hour on an Ezzy 6.0 Infinity and was planing most of the time but not fully powered. The Ezzy, even rigged somewhat poorly, sails so much more sweetly than the effin Aerotech.

It was a nice day, not what we expected, wind came up late in the after noon, riged a 6.6 had a few run on that than hit a rope and slam my knee, had to go and take a long brake.

For sure we did miss Peter and Nina at Fogland, i am sure they had a blass today at Kalmus. But it was nice to see a few sailors we haven't seen for a while.

First day of 20+ wind this summer 
Boy did we need it! Egg Island slick was under water with a "Blue Moon" high tide.
Too bad, it could have been nice. Felt great to get back on H2O.
