Another dawn session at the Kirb as the wind was forecasting a westerly wind direction which is the best wind direction, but as soon as we hit the water the wind switched round to WNW and really gusty. This meant the course in this wind strength got too broad and also we had the dreaded death chop to deal with so no long runs down the wall and we needed another 5-10 knots to give us enough power when your that broad off the wind.

Gutted the wind direction didn't stay westerly for longer but happy enough with my speeds and got to try the 21cm Vector Delta in my new Mistral Speed and it suits the board very well, it was rock solid through the chop giving you that bit more confidence knowing the fin wouldn't break out causing you to crash.
