Kyeemagh, 20 knots southerly, gusting around 25

Carbon Art SL58, Loft Switchblade 7.3, KA Koncept 5.8, 32cm Goldwing

Well I was expecting a formula sail today and only took the small board as a backup plan. It was looking really good when I got there, so I rigged the 7.3 and had a ball for a couple of hours - then it was obviously proving too much, so time for a switch down to the 5.8 - much better!

Such a beautiful day today - first time out for the season without the wetsuit.

Tale of 2 directions. Got out early in the surprisingly decent WSW that went SW, S, WSW, W etc. Nice and warm and boardies or first time. Super gusty but some sweet runs on the Pipeclay strip on the big gear. Solo sail for awhile.

Then total glass off, temp dropped about 5 degrees so walked back and then on from the SSE. Changed to a weedie and back out.

Had some good runs with Paul but wind was all over the place. Got smashed a few times on the 7.8 but when I decided to go in and change down it slowly died and went back south. sweet day on the water.

Falcon 121, RSR Evo III 7.8, 40 Talon and Weedster 36.

Suprise Sutherly at Tarren Point, near the Sailing club.

All alone except for a couple old wallies. Packed up about 3 and saw 2 new sailers startup.

Fun, but hit an oyster rock and dented the board. again. urgh.

oh and I also raced a couple a speed boats,.... and beat 'em. Both!

Snuck out while the boss and boy were having an afternoon nap. Great to be out on the water, wished i was 3 hours south but thats life.

Bit too much sail up but still great fun, had a run on Troys new Hellcat 5.7 and JP 106 All Ride - wow really nice kit to sail the bay on.

Some entertainment with the 'locals' completely submerging what looked like a brand new boat.
