Chris Adamson (14466km): Went down for a taste of the Beaver! Never really powered fully on the 6.3 but the water was nice and flat on the run and there were juicy ramps on the outside. Good to Stringer & Snake also enjoying the action. Looking forward to a windier day when the magic of the Beaver can really be revealed. Manat 49 / CL23 / Warp 6.3

bazinga! finally! i have really struggled with my alphas for sooooooo long, but today i managed to get 4 faster than my previous PB (23.67), the first one was on the 113 Fanatic Falcon with the 7.0 RSR evo ii and 30 FO weedy. This board HATES that fin, or maybe i had the mast track too far back... didn't bother to find out as the wind picked up and i changed down to the 6.2 and 85 falcon with 23CL. I was on an alpha mission today and really pleased to see the results. i was not feeling the first setup at all and was in need of a good soul searching. Only went for speed runs towards the end of the day finished up about 6:30PM when i think it was at its strongest. say 22-24 gusts with nice flat water even at high tide, could have done ith the 7.0 for some extra grunt and also could have used the CA44 speed board but I needed to nail the alphas while i had them in my sights. Next target is the holy grail (25 knot alpha). nearly had it with ...ahem... trackpoints :) but they are so 2009! Shoulder and hands are sore as right now but well worth it...
maybe wednesday will see some more action :S
Recycle (17196km): Cervantes, Regs speed challenge got some serious wind for a change, given the sea state it could be argued a little to mutch wind.managed to hold it all together for one decent peak the rest of the time it was survival. iso86/CA52,rsr6.2/LB5.6 ,f1 32/CL26
Slowboat (49232km): Cervantes radar gun mission. 6.4m, Mistral speed 55, CL29. Went a bit hard on the first run into the beach and got nailed by a gust which catapaulted me at 67 and broke my mast in 2 places. Ooops. Back on the water for some more punishment and after securing radar glory I stuck on the 41 for some GPS runs. Nice thunderstorm came through and put a stop for the day as the wind switched off and we swam in. Some good crashes today. Hope Istacks shoulder recovers soon. Nice one benny for stealing my board and smoking the GPS for the day... and thanks for not hitting me when you catapaulted...
