Astrid (21936km): Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU What a great day on the lake! nearly thought about driving south today as forecast didnt look all that good, glad I didn't! 5.7 and jpslalom was a good choice, a few holes occasionally and a few really good gusts comimg through from the NE. Please with the pb as left ankle and foot was sore all day. Was only comfortable on port tack and struggled on starboard. | ||||||||||||||||||

Helga (25284km): Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU f2 130L &. 7.5koncept 89 falcon & 6.2 koncept. 113falcon & 6.2 koncept Had one run on the big kit then the boom cracked at the head. Thought I might be able to coax it back as naturally I was on the far side of the lake - but no toatally snapped off- boom in four pieces. used the good side and the tail end in backwards to make it back to shore. As luck would have it no one had a spare boom. Borrowed an old boom from the yacht club but couldn't make it work. Greg remembered we still had a wave boom in the van and I was back in business. Excellent sailing conditions today and very happy with the speed |
