The first proper Easterly for the summer that I have sailed. Wind variable but mostly around 22-26 knots. There were times for a minute or so that I could not waterstart the CA40.

Tried for some Alphas on the IS87 with Lessacher Duo rake 30 25cm and 5m Koncept. A bit rusty in the gybes but this was good practice.

The tide was very low, exposing some shallow humps in the best past of the easterly speed run so I didn't go there until the tide came in a bit. Still a bit nervous. Did the speed runs on the same sail with CA40 and C3 19cm fin. All felt very good!

A nice sail at Invy with the wind arriving a bit after 3pm. Didn,t really kick in like a normal easterly but still great fun and a very low tide.

Got my best 2 and 10 sec on the Ca 66 with the 7.5 and when i swaped to the smaller gear went slower . Must have been the wind dying  but couldn,t go over 33 with what should be faster stuff.Good to get some consistant sailing done.

Interesting to note that there were NO Southerly Busters on the water. Must have had too much turkey over Christmas to float any more
