Nice easy day at Coal Point. Fanatic XXX and 6.0m.

Experimented going closer to the upper sand banks at the sand islands. Took a while to build up confidence that it was deep enough.

I call it the 'Byron' channel as we watched him go through this area at over 30 kts last week.

Lovely sail, well powered with a 7.2 Tempo and Rocket 115

Cant really seem to significantly improve my speeds though it is nice to get a couple of PB's

Kyeemagh, NSW, AU slalom racing 8 races total sailed with 4 finals.

7.6m maui 111L exsosit with 430 vector fin,  felt great speed and jibing.

Had a great day racing with first in 7 races and  3rd position in a total of 8 races.

Alot of thanks need to go to Adam Craven for his help in getting the trailer and Brett Morris for his continued running of these events & also Jasper for doing the starts.

A special thanks to Rachel for doing such a great job of doing the scoring.

Formula racing followed by a little short boarding till the muscles said no more. Strange day again with the Easterly hitting round 18-20 then dropping off early then swinging to NE and coming in again for a bit. Still good sail to finish the week with the prospect of work again next week.

Kyeemagh NSW

Heat 3 of NSW Slalom series

Wind finally filled in and then went crazy started out 12 - 18 and gusty by close we had 20 plus.

Great of day racing in the end, good roll up but could always be bigger.

7.6 Vapor JP 112, 40 Cavemen fin

Runway speed run was good, bit bouncy.

Kyeemagh, NSW, AU

Exocet Sting 134, Mauisails TR8 7.6, Select RS7 51cm - Wind NE 12-25 kts

Heat 3 NSW Slalom Series

Finally some wind for a slalom race day!  Always good to sail at Kyeemagh and turned out to be a great day of racing.  Started off a bit patchy but really went crazy about 5pm and was struggling to keep the board down in the gusts.  Stoked to make each of the 4 winners finals!  Got some lucky starts and stayed dry on most of my gybes, and ended up squeaking through each round.

Great day on the water with lots of mates and happy family playing on the beach.  Doesn't get too much better. Smile

Well done to Byron and Muz for showing the sydney boys how its done!

Hi Adam, well one on the PBs. Those results show you are sailing consistently. I'm no expert when it comes to speed however if you find some flat water in strong winds and you sail on a broad reach you will go faster than you normally do.
