bushfire (26346km):  Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU NNE up to 22 knots or so. Started off with the formula board, tuning with Ben. First out on the 11m and the M70 fin and this felt good. An increasing wind pushed the limits so I changed to the 9.5 and the F60X fin - first time with this combo. The fin was very good in the windier conditions, making the board very friendly. Best speed on the formula board was a 26.8 knots. A breather and lunch then out at Primbee on the slalom board. The wind was gusty making for a tiring session. Liver (5716km):  3 categories  Vincentia, NSW, AU Found some play mates for JB. Spent most of the morning there, then a late arvo sail at Sanctuary poinrt. The Nautical mile was a big ocean blast down from Callala which I was pretty happy about (when the scary ride was over). Goal acheived crossed the bay, a long run on one tack! Should have stopped at the beach on Bowen Island but was on my own and was worried if a reef might take out my fin or worse.
