P-bay session. West winds, 10-30kts. iSonic 86, GPS 6.6, Tectonics Falcon 31.

Pretty cold, very gusty, very tiring, had just 6 speed runs...

Kennedy Slicks, Cape Cod. Gorgeous January day, warm and sunny. Wind was a bit up & down, but no complaints here. XFire 90, BPF WeedSpeed 28. Was too tired when the wind picked up towards the end of the session, otherwise one or two more knots would have been possible. Tried the BPF 28 that's just 23.5 cm deep first time today, worked beautifully, although I was fully lit by then.

Kennedy Slicks, Cape Cod. Skate 90, Manic 4.5, overpowered. Put the GPS on only for the last few runs. Great sunny day.

Well done on the PBs in the coldSurprised Often I go to survival mode gybing when an icy bath is the downside of a fluffed gybe!

Just discovered that my analysis settings were wrong - the alpha is with 75 m, not 50 m. Actual alpha with 50 m was just 19.98 knots, not 21.47. Still good for me, but not a PB. I cannot edit the data anymore, though, seems I'm a day or two too late. Sorry.

Nina's alpha was also done with 75 m, but here corrected alpha still a PB with 16.71 instead of 16.82.
