Scott (5272km):
4300 days ago Futura 93, 7.0 T4, Vector 32 SLW & 27 DSW - A decent seabreeze!! That was a nice change. Tried out the 7.0 T4 seeing I like my 6.0 so much. Took a while to find a sweet spot... the sail felt light and well balanced but the low down performce wasn't working and buggered if I could get upwind. Eventually came in and took off some downhaul, finally I could go upwind but acceleration was still a bit down on the Lightnings. That said its a very comfy sail. Also the 32 was working but a bit flighty so as soon as Col headed back in I grabed the 27, much better! Haven't done 30ks for a while, must of been a good breeze!

Fun at Mandurah - I was a little under done at first.
I asked for 3 knots more & Huey obliged - was in awe of the big boy leaders on the horizon

Demo board from 2nd Wind (thanks guys)
Changed to the Exocet Cross 94L with 36cm Vector when the wind finally kicked in at the end
Struggled all day trying to get up wind untill the very end
Obviously too smaller sail compared to everyone else but it was perfect at the end
Another great day at Mandurah

Started off with the bigger gear as I wanted to try the new fin, have to say I am impressed ,plenty of lift and the board felt nice and stable, changed down when it got a bit much and all in all had a great sail, only gripe is the wind seemed to die across the sandbar so downwinders were difficult
Good to see some of the crew
