Swansea, NSW, AU

Sand Islands, NE, about 20 knots, CASL62, 6.6, 28 weedy.  Tide was too high so quite bumpy but good wind.  didn't need the weed fin but better safe than sorry.  Pretty happy with the 32. Nice to see old Ben on a board again.

Aquatic club Toukley , NSW, AU                       iSO 64 , Code red 6.7 , 28 cm custom weedy

Same setup as yesterday but tweaked way better , Great sail with Byron , Mick , Milsy , Pugs and Greg , Was far from flat with a few scarey moments .

Had a couple of great runs with Byron .

peel st cantong, NSW, AU 6.6m on 44 CA very powered up but was very bumpy scary when doing 38 knots. did a heap of runs over 37 knots felt quick but sometimes scary. First time I have sailed there enjoyed the sail with all the boys.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Exocet Sting 134, Mauisails TR8 8.4, Select RS7 51 - Wind NE 12 kts

A fun afternoon with the family down at Marmong, decent breeze and just right for the big gear.  Water a bit dirty but not too much floating debris fortunately.  Good to sail with Mick, Geoff, Gurt and Big Tom.

Gusty NE,NW 8-18 knts. At last, the fanatic 110 lt is back on the water due to a big prang months ago. Its overall weight is 1.2 kg

heavier, never the less it was nose happy in the gusts today. A good sign...I reckon.

Fanatic falcon 72 w,  110 lt, maui tr4 8.4 m. 410 fin

Short and sweet. Lightning ended what would have been a nice sail. Still after yesterday a bit of sanity.

Hell speeds there Bruce and a great PB. So the Swansea is good for a NE wind? I think I've found a decent flat water spot near Koolewong in a SE or easterly wind.

Hi Bruce, I sailed at Tascott yesterday and it was as rough as guts. I never quite got out of the bay but I think up towards Woy Woy the water looked flatter behind the oyster leases. I'm not sure but the next time we get an easterly or SE wind on the weekend I'm going to check it out.

Thanks Karl.  Where is the Koolewong spot?

Greg, where is the Aquatic club, I was up that way but went to swansea as Peel St had ski boats everywhere.

Great work Bruce, smashed your old PB by 1.5 knots.  I have some catching up to do now! Nice speed Greg and Byron too.

Nice Pb Bruce, nice speed Greg and Byron in those conditions. When the lake is at its normal height that joint is super flat.

Karl,

Yes the oyster racks are best on the bay, usually get the best wind as you pass below them into the channel at Kooolewwong & can stop for a rest at rthe little beach below the wharf at KOOLEWONG. wORKS IN s or SE, never tried it in NE, may need weed fin
