East Bay, Osterville. A bit chilly (43 F), rain for the last hour. Spot has potential for 2 secs and alphas, but harder to find good wind and flat water for 10 sec runs, and runs are to short (650 m) for good mile/hour/distance. First runs on XFire 90/Koncept 5.8/BP WS 28 for speed, then switched to 3S 96/Manic 4.5 for hour & distance. Had to stop because the rain got too annoying, and my arms started cramping up. But was still a nice session at a new spot 10 minutes from my home Cool

coolWild day! Started with the longest "Walk of Shame" of my life, after a squall killed the wind with me out 3.5 miles.... Then finished with a classic SW kick-azz blow. It really came up after dark, too bad. Great fun overall. New PB in the Nauty mile and into 7th place overall for the month! I love Hatteras!

Congrats to the mile PB! Darn close to your top speed, one would think you're on Lake George. Maybe I should have gone out into Craigville Bay for a better mile .. but I might not have made it back. I saw us still on 9th place in the rankings when I checked early this morning, but then a few other teams posted and bumped us down. But we're still quite far away from the bottom of the rankings for once Smile. Next week might bring a couple more windy days, too.
