Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. Sailing club for an early sail to beat the wet weather. Rigged a bit bigger, 6m GTX, but still slow. Had some nice gusts and some better runs with less weed, so better fun than yesterday. Any day planing is a good day!

Another less than hoped for forecast.Decided to get in early, before the rain and get a session in. Matt K was there early too, with Bill and Anton, Rob and Chris on water also. Wind was quite a bit lighter than yesterday coming in from the WSW-SW at 10-20k.

Rigged  6.5GTX Falcon SL104 and BP 34 weedy got me going OK. Could see a big bank of rain cloud on its way and took its time. The wind freshened up a bit, but still gusty and weedy.Had two sessions again with the second one bringing in the results. Poor Bill snapped another mast, and somehow lost his sail in the water while de-rigging. Went to Davy Jones' locker. Bizarre!

Got out as the rain finally came in. Good timing.

AB54, 6.5 GTX, 38 BP weed fin.  An ok sail, didn't bring my bigger board with the stronger winds forecast.  Planing then not then planing again, and it was good when the wind was there.  Everyone else on bigger boards were flying around me.

Great to have a sail after sooo long.

Canton Beach 2nd carpark, NSW, AU. Johnny, Karl, Greg and Byron. Flogging down rain at times with the weed really on ya mind with the poor visibility. Looking nice when we turned up but soon died in the arse 5 with a couple of 15 to maybe 18 knt gusts and that was it. Super flat in patches, just underdone. 6.6 gps 100 Patrik 29 weedy. Go Marauders!! Awesome team effort yesterday!!!

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU After breaking a mast 5min into the session, loosing my sail can you beleive! It sank as I was grabbing the board from blowing away and just could not locate it, then rescued by a freindly boat and got back out on the water for a good sail.

Queens Lake.Strange weather today. Was sunny and blowing 15 knot sw when rigging, but as soon i got on the water a cloud front  came in and killed the wind to nothing. Waited around for over an hour, then the sun came back and the wind filled in 15- 18 knot sw, so had a great sail. Sorry you missed out Mark.

F2sx medium, Hot sails Gps 7.3m , Jp 31cm weedy.
