Swan Bay,

First sail in months, felt very rusty. Wind was howling when I got there..High... tide with a surge made the higgest water Ive ever seen here.. Tough day to go fast

First real training day in decent wind with Jaques and Red. Nice wind but the banks were'nt out so it was just chop blasting. Great for speed practice.. not good for decent speeds. First sail on the Mistral 47 and I love it! Really easy to get going and it eats chop like nothing. Looking foreward to getting on a speed course with it. Pretty damn cold too.. I left Jaques and Red still sailing . It will be interesting to see what they do there was some big squalls as I was driving back to work...

Nice to finally get on the water and have a blast. It doesn't matter how much training you do on the land the real training needs to be done on the water, i felt fit but not really sailing fit, good to get a few more days in. Happy with my peak but suffered with my ave as the end of the run the 5.1 was just to small, my 5.5 arrived today, would have been the sail of choice today. But its not about the numbers is it Tone!!Wink Good times

I had a nuts session at Rye yesterday in 35-40 knots, flattenned on a 4.2 wave sail. Same as Jacques - felt strong but not sail fit. Only one thing for it - and that's start sailing!
