Matchracing with Nikaj on his starboards.

The good forecast didn't fill in, so the expected speedsession became a slalom session.

First real session ever on De Houw for me. Didn't really know where to sail and where not to sail. We arrived a little late because of our morning session on The Brace. Again not really powered, mid weather conditions are not my speciality but by surprice speeds were ok, sailed only one hour as the wind was dying. Can't wait for my Z-fin Speed 23, Hans was using this fin and he was flying compared to the others with his big heavy body on his small kit.

If somebody wants to buy a JP Speed 45 or 50 from 2012 or 2013 (same model as 2014). There are some boards on stock and discounts are very interesting. Inform at your local JP dealer.

First time on the spot arrived a bit late and tired from getting out of bed at 03:00h after 3,5 hours sleep. Then drive 3hours picking up Jacques and Wouter to go the brace for a mudwalk/crap session/mudwalk then derigged and went to catch some wind at the Houw. Happy this turned out to be a good decision. Had to get used to the spot a little and get some confidence but after 5 runs it felt good and the speeds got up. It's a nice spot bit crowded but fun and really good conditions but a bit more wind would have been nice.
