Tried towing the speed board out with the  X-Fire 102 but gave up at the

1st mark, used the speed board from then on.

Nice to meet you Clive, thanks for the company too Ray & Geoff.

Fantastic flat water fun with Barbie. Got the drum from Steve that there's not much water here at low tide - no kidding! Very short run, but good for Barbie to get her confidence going. Had to head home just as the tide was starting to come in. Will definitely have to try this spot again!

Exocet RS5; Ezzy Lion 7.5; Black Project Type-R 40cm.

Burrum Heads Qld

Started with Naish SP95, TR4 5.9, C328, but after being rescued by BCB Clive went in and changed to old faithful Exo RS4.

Wind direction was only a few degrees off, but still had an enjoyable sail with Geoff, Darryl and Clive.

Local forecast for next few days 25-30kts. On your bike B-rad.Smile

Congrats on the PB Skipper! Cool

Looks like you got the wind that was predicted. We only ended up with 10-15 knots. Strong wind warning???

Congrats on the PB Daryl - thats the important one!  Interesting to see you tried to tow the speed board up the course.  I imagine it quite difficult with all the tacking up the course you have to do.

Well done hubby on pb....long time since last had one. Looks like lots of fun had by all. Elliot was shallow other day on kayak, but so beautiful and clear.

The tracks a bit false Brian, i came back at the end to get the bigger board and tacked that out,

then i had to go back and collect the speed board and had to go arcross the channel

to get back home. It was not worth the effort but i have been meaning to try it.

Thinking of towing two boards out behind the sup next time.Wink

Nice one Darryl, bugger all down here. Hey Andy looks like the channel at Elliott has got real narrow, used to be a great place to sail.
