Drift (6257km):  LOCATION: Aitutaki, Cook Islands WIND: E 12-18 kts GEAR: Bic Veloce,(!), Fanatic Viper, Hot Sails- Superfreak 5.4 DETAILS: Amazing sailing on an enormous lagoon! Took the old Bic out for a run but it didn't feel up to the task so I switched to the only other board at the resort- a Fanatic Viper (145l) Decided to do a long run from motu to motu, stopping briely at Akaimi to look at the old Flying Boat Wharf. I then sailed a good 10 ks on a single tack. Got so far away from shore that I couldn't see land....awesome! I was the only vessel on the water so I thought it was probably time to turn around. Got some nice runs on the way back- lining up the sandspits between the motus
