Xfire 114 (40 Carbon Canefire)  & Xfire 98 (36 Canefire) with 7m Lightning

Melville, Always a feels a bit weird sailing in a NNW/NW. Good to use the 98 for the first time. Good arvo in the sunshine with a few laughs to round out the day.Laughing

Melville Beach, WA, AU

76 iSonic, 6.7 O/D, 32 Venom.

A very enjoyable sail in warm sunshine & with a good number of the crew out.

Thanks to all who made the T shirt happen.

Futura 111, Lightning 7.0, Vector SW 36 - Been a while since I've been on the "small" gear. Forgot how nice he 111 is to ride and the 7.0 felt a tad different to the 9.4!! Some nice little gusts out on the sandbar, but the rust flaking off on each run and the shallow water kept me a bit cautious... great sail though. Cool 0.01!!!!!LaughingLaughingLaughing

6.5M T4, 94Lt Cross

What a great day out. T'was great to see so many happy faces, squinting into the sun - bring on summer.Cool

Great to see some of the team in their new T Shirts - one person (big high jumper) was really jealous.Surprised

Hopefully that is the last time I have to wear my winter wettie this yearUndecided

Exocet Cross 94L with 7.0M T-bird & 36 EX Vector

Had a blast on the RRD Firestorm 120L late in the day out the back in the rough stuff, a bit hairy & a few kiters in the way Surprised

Nice to be powered up on the 7.0, no tuning just rigged & went, the rig felt spot-on Laughing

Melville Beach, WA,

Isonic 110w, odrive 7.8, volt 42.

The 110 is really suited to thr 7.8 it goes where ever you point it quite comfortably. Out before the breeze hardened cant imagine what it was like at the northern end of the bank when it did because the chop\slop was bad enough early came to the conclusion just dont watch the boards nose.

7.8 reflex II (for 15 min) then 7.0 reflex 4; RRD XF V5 105; Choco 36 @ Melville

Nice to get back after a layoff with a bad shoulder...was pretty rusty but it was great to get out (even though my near new 430 mast snapped just as I got in the water and rotated the cams)....no real speed to be found but it was  a good feeling to be out there and not a spectator for a change. Many of the team out...is it really spring?

How was the 107 Shane?

Really impressive actually.  The very first runs I did on it were races around the buoys.  It just felt comfortable straight away and definitely a lot faster all round than my old 101.  Seems easy and responsive in the gybes too.
