Not as windy as forcast. Couldn't get over the sandbar with the pointer in so had to go with the weedy

Gusty and lots of traffic. put a hole in my board when I stuffed a gybe from catching weed.

Good to catch up with some of the locals though.

Enjoyable sail at Melville but not quite enough wind.

Holy Melville Batman, that was Shitsville.

1st sail of 2014, 5th sail in 369 days. Not a great start.

Koncept 5.8, Windtech 8'10 to start, well under done in both depts, then went Koncept 6.6 S-Type 93 and lessacher weedie. wind died and wasn't rigged the best. Lots of holes that just seemed to home in on me.

Oh well, got wet.

Melville Beach, WA, AU Retro day. Dusted of an old GAASTRA race sail and windtech 860 from the 90's for something different. The board felt quite good once underway but the sail was lacking in gust control. Pumped onto the plane super easy which suprising. Think I got a 26-28 out of it.

Changed over to the PD 92 and R3 6.2 to finish off the day.

raced down latish struggled to time any sandbar runs through the traffic and lulls. while craw was socializing and trying to fend off the parking ranger for everyone nursing his bung foot!.
