Missed a few hours of good conditions because we were hoping for a low tide session in the afternoon. Got pushed even later when we discovered that Kalmus had lots of ice and slush near shore, and had to drive to West Dennis. Got there just as the fog rolled in, the rain started, and all the kiters left. After sailing less than 500 m, the shore became lost in the fog. Wind picked up 10 knots so I was way overpowered, sailing alone in fog, in water just above freezing. Too many risk factors, too little fun - this ended up being the shortest session I had in many months. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
