Sailed with Greg from Lake Macquarie, nice to have company. Pity the speed strip disappeared in the Aussie day flood last year.

Nice one Mark. Hopefully Paul (Cootharabean) will back you up today with some stellar results! A few of us heading to Burrum tomorrow. Rigging at boat ramp 9:30 am if you can make it.

Hey nice PB Richo, were you sailing in the Boyne river, I used to sail there many years ago, nice place :)

Thanks Gents, yeah Justin that was in the Boyne. Unfortunately you wouldn't recognise the place now. The big flood last year took all of the sand out of the river, shifted the gravel banks and left a whole heap of big trees along the old speed bank. The rest of the mouth is now mainly shallow, sharp barnacle encrusted gravel. Having said that, the sand is slowly making a return. Thank God for Burrum, won't make it this weekend but hope to make it down there next weekend if the wind lasts.

Have a good day at Burrum boys.

Great distance Paul. Was too gusty and offshore here to provide any backup. Maybe next time! Errr... How's that monthly challenge looking now Daz? Don't tell me Paul has won again! ;)

Well done Paul. I went there but didn't rig. Don't think I missed anything special as it looked gusty. Looks like you had a good sail.

Yeah I had to use the JP Darryl cause its my most comfortable board for the conditions which were very rough. It was a little gusty Jeffro, but it was my only day I could get out so decided to make the most of it. And yes Pete its hard work but it sure beats my day job! Looks like I scored a Jellybean too!
