iS90, 6.3RBlade, 33 S1 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 10-27kn

Really frustrating day on the water.  Rigged the 6.3 as it was honking but died after a scud passed.  Contemplated getting the 7.8 but I could see the white caps way off in the distance so waited 15minutes for it to fill back in.  Got a couple runs out and up to south end of beach then it switched right off and plodded all the way back into beach and could see it doing the same again.  Waited and wind came back in like ground hog day but ended up jarring my back hitting some chop so decided to call it quits and by this time I was well & truly overpowered.  Wobbly downwind run back.

Oh I forgot - during my slog in the middle of session I saw the biggest mudcrab swanning on the surface as I passed it a foot from the board.  Wished I had a net with me.

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU    ....Wind looked good when I arrived at dam, but disappeared while I was rigging.....Decided to go out anyway and was soon rewarded.      Used 6.0m Gun Tempo with 130l JP Slalom and 37 Lightning fin.    A few boats, but no other windsurfers.    LG...Lifes Good!!!  Cool/Innocent

Illawong beach. Wind hovering around 25knts. Absolute balltearer of a sail in what has been a great week of sailing. 2001 Naish freeride 8'6", 2000 vintage 4.7 North wave sail, shortened SL9 fin. Phil where were you?

Neap tides so the beach was standing up nice little ramps with flat water between them. Big bearaway speed runs in between waves then hook upwing and get launched. Great fun. 5 sailors out, must be a record.

Green Island, QLD, AU Great DAY on GI on the Speed GEAR.I love NEAP tide days on GI-perfect amount of water for 4-5 hrs today .

Sailed the JP SP 50 RSR E 4 5.8(love this sail ) & used the SS 23 today .

Day didnt start so well with the Brand New F100  400 Snapping during downhaul -so glad I'd brought a spare X 65 but NOT good for inspiring confidence in the GEAR...

WAS light early -first few runs were 33s but as the wind came in the speeds eventually started hitting 40 .Stoked to get such good wind so early in our season .

Sailed with Kel & Toody -the boys were flying on their SB Speed 49s .

I think Kel will take honors today ...Cool

Awesome day at Green with Toody and Cam! Tide was almost perfect all day! That was until the wind really started cranking at 1.30 when there was too much water making it choppy and a little suicidal coming into the runSealed.

A little disappointed with the speeds through the software as i had 40.80 on the dial and was hoping for a PB!

Used Isonic SS 49, C3 SS21 and Overdrive 6.0  CoolCoolCool

Snags, probably a jenny. Don't feel bad.

Just realised, pulled my third fastest Alpha. And that included jumps. Happy.

Bloody hell, I feel deflated now. I salute the GI crew.

Mind you, I think I matched you on kNts per square m of sail. No way I was rigging any bigger out there today, way too rough.
