Despo sail after a shit day at work. Looked OK but wind was dying due to big thunder storm brewing to the WNW. Just nice to get out and get planing with Spence and Chris. One half decent gust and thats about it. Just made it back to the beach as the dark clouds came over.

Pretty nice way to end a Friday with a cold beer handed to you as you put your gear down, ta Spence.

I had taken the day off work to spend it with Deb, as it's her 50th birthday today. It's a big day (weekend of festivities) but she wasn't feeling too great, and the wind came up, so she said there's no point of both of us hanging around the house - you should go for a sail. What a wonderful, understanding wife Smile.

First sail since Lake George - it's great to be back in the huge swell again...

Geez, the wind today was holier than a Church full of Catholics on Good Friday!!

Met Mike T down at Kyeemagh for a goodbye to Summer sail. Should have rigged my 7.5 but was busting to try my brand spankers 6.6. Lovely and light but just not enough wind to really test it. Found myself dropping off the plane way too easy in the lulls when others were powering through. Early impressions are really good about it though.

Remi and Rick made a cameo appearance with a half hour of wind left and I had a good fun 20 mins or so chasing them (but NEVER catching) around before I bode an early exit in a rapidly dropping breeze.

Not much in the way of speed but the lovely water and air temp made up for it. Damn I miss Lake George Frown

Best session of the week down the coast and the best speed 2 second I've got on the Falcon 99L with H2 6.7m and 32cm fin.

Needed a smaller weed fin to get into the local speed sailing spot, but very happy to get these speeds and a heap of fun!

Thanks to the locals for being so welcoming.
