Good sailing but short. Just managed to catch few gusts before wind died completely and needed to swim back to the beach.

Victoria Point, QLD, AU, gusty, rainy but still worth it. JP Slalom/Speed 55, Reflex4 6.2, Vector Volt 34. As Tildark mentioned, sailing for the firt time along the speed bank, but wrong side which was pretty choppy. But now we know for next time.

Love my new JP Slalom/Speed 55, great in the chops and jibes really well even at low speeds. I'm glad I didn't buy a dedicated speed board for my type of sailing through the bay. Great advice from Surf FX,   ......as always, thanks Alfamale.

Sailed late morning with Jas,very gusty ssw 0-25knts.Hard work till rain killed it.

just about to pack up when it kicked in but too lazy to change down.

Had a few more runs pretty well overpowered and uncomfortable on 77 but hung on to it.

Couldnt get any better speed out of sail than already run in the morning.

Board was fine in conditions ,shouldnt  have been so lazy and rigged 63.

Great result & achievement Peter, well done. It looks like you might be finally converted to smaller sails and leave your 8+ sails at home, at least in 20+ knots days.

Great to meet you George. Albert and I couldn't understand why you and Curt stayed in the big chop and didn't sail up the north side of the bank. Hopefully it will blow again tomorrow, so we can do it again.

Well done George again. Looks like you feel and master your new small slalom board, specifically gybing.

I still have problem gybing on my small 81l JP

Nice to meet you too John. Yeah it might be another sailable day tomorrow. I'm ready. Yes, we stuffed up with the sandbank site but at least we now know where and how to sail around, that was a big help from you, thanks.

Thanks Peter. You should come to VP and just jibe whole day long. You can always stand on both ends and therefore practise without getting too tyred waterstarting. Neverthelss you're getting fastre every week, that's great. You should be pretty much ready for some drag racing around buoys. I'm sure you would like it. I think that's more fun than just waiting whole afternoon for that LUCKY gust.

Congrats on the PB Macro - 30kn 5x10 next stop.

Hannu, maybe another two metres of downhaul on that 77m sail of yours would have made it more controllable Wink

Sausage ,tried that with my partner in crime.

Had Jas onto it ,he tugged an tugged but reckoned that was the end of the line, and he had had enuf.

Was quite pleased he was doin the tuggen cause I was feelin a wee bit jaded .

Cheers
