I was on the same gear as yesterday, but there was a lot more wind. It was windy up at Primbee, but much lighter generally down at windang, so it was possible to choose the right wind for your sail. Generally. Tiredness and a sliced foot got me off the water early.
Dave was flying on the SP50 - I cant wait to see his numbers...

Big day, met up with Mike on the way down nice and early.
Rigged my 5.8, but by the time I way ready to go in the wind had picked up considerably - so I chickened ot and rigged the 5.0
Went to use my SP50 but it was being held hastage by its board bag - Mike kindly lent me his BIG thank Mike.
Some huge gust but man was it it choppy.

Didnt feel like driving today so popped down to Lake Dangerous for a quickie. Typical westerly, gusty and swinging from NW to WNW to W. Suppose the wind was 5-18 or so. Anyway still had fun with some short slingshots on a full tide so no flat water under Pipeclay Pt. Sailed up high by myself then Moffo came up and we had a few runs together. Then Wysey came out but stayed down low. Wind started getting squirelly and patchy so came in. Seano turned up for a quickie too as I packed up. Usual social day for the Splinter Gatherer's. 3 kiters which was 3 too many when they all kite in the same spot.

3854 days ago I arrived at Foreshore Rd late, after 2, and had a short 10min blast before the wind dropped.
Everyone that arrived before noon packed up and left... so I decided to rig the 7.7, and the bluff paid off! The wind kicked in for a second awesome session of the weekend!
MauiSails 6.3m, RS2 and 31cm Select VMax fin. Felt so dialed in today... few awesome gybes too, suprised the alpha wasn't higher, but suspect the entry for the good gybes was to deep meaning I missed the 50m circle over 500m to make them official.
