Falcon 113, KA Race 7.1, Vector Speed Weed 27
It was dodgey when I first went out, going from 5kn to 18kn to 5kn again, so I took out the bigbird (113). It got stronger pretty quick, and after the first two runs I dropped from the Vector 30 Slalom Weedy to the Vector 27 Speed Weed to allow me to keep the board under control, which was a challenge as the tide was high so there wasnt a lot of flat water to be had when the bigger gusts were in. HAd to be lucky with the gusts. Jagged a 4-5 good ones, right place right time. Love this board/sail/fin combo.
Lots of guys out, Dion, Greg, GMac, Steve and Azza and Gabe from Forster, plus a few others I didnt recognise at distance. Fun day on the water as the sun was out all day - sweet session.
Tomorrow looks the goods as well. MAybe get the speeder out if it comes in as forecast

6.0 gps, Yellow Sub and a BP weed speed 28. No real flat water just small chop over the weed bank had some insane gusts felt a bit out of control sometimes but still heaps of fun and nice swell out in the middle.

3779 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU A bit disappointed in the actual conditons vs forecast but thats nothing new. Had a great time got alot more comfortabe with the new BIC, managed a couple of tacks, plus a spew (suffering with MAN flue), also a PB for 2 sec, got my front foot in the strap twice which felt a bit strange with feet heaps close together but felt safer can't wait to get both in that'll be great! Super to catch up with all Mick, Johnny, Sue, Hugh and Wisey, nice to meet Andrew hope you all had heaps of fun. LOVE YUS ALL WINDSURFING FOLK!
CUT SICKEST MARAUDERS HOPE WE ALL SCORE BIGTIME TOMMORROW!!!!!!!

3779 days ago 1 categories Nice sail at Queens Lake. Good turn out today, eight sailors on the water at one stage. Typical gusty westerly , 5-18 knots for the first hour then 15-20 knots. Wasnt feeling the best today so gave it away after an hour and a half.
F2 sx medium, Hsm 6.6m Gps, Jp 31cm weedy.

Would of been better to use a better sail than my 4.5 wave sail
and I guess more time on the water would help
Good sail with the Forster crew at Queens and the locals were smoking.
Great PB Aza.

Very late sail, was dark when I was packing up. Thought I saw a 35 there, obviously my eye aren't as good in the dark anymore! lol
Had the place to myself, feet went numb pretty quick and hard to see the gusts in the fading light, but still good to get out!

Went for a run up to Queens with Rob, Aza and Andre. Hard to decide what to rig. Ended up underpowered with the chosen gear. Had fun never the less and snagged a couple of gusts. Nice flat conditions but gusty. Saw a few of the Port boys out having a blast and met up with a couple of other guys who also launched from Bob's.
5.0 Naish Stealth, Hawk 93l 10.5 Finworks weedy.
