Mark Hayford (6908km):
3770 days ago Nice afternoon sailing with Neil H, wind was very gusty and up and down. Mostly around 10/12 knots and sometimes gusts around 15/16k. If you were lucky and on the gusts you could get some half decent runs, but luck was needed. We where going to pack up around 7pm but we noticed a some rain clouds a mile away, we opted to stick around just in case the wind picked up, this paid off. We put our formula boards away and switched to xl slalom boards, I think Neil might have also switched to his 7.8m too. We waited ten minutes and bingo, wind picked up and went wnw. It only lasted ten minutes but it was enough for me to get my three fastest runs of the day. First, second and third ten second runs were on the iS137 and fourth and fifth ten second runs were done on the Formula 161. Was fun.
