Absolutely stoked!!!!!!! Gambled with a PD day and it paid off big time. Very very windy and very choppy. As I got out most went in except for Millsy and Hugh. The water was getting lifted in sheets at stages. First run just let it go, 40.31. OMG. Had my own little dance to celebrate  and then waved Johnny down just so I could show someone.
It was awesome but hairy doing slingshots in those conditions but once you were deep off the wind if felt sweet. First five runs were all over 40 knots, 40.31, 40.03, 40.17, 40.13 and a 40.54 peak, talk about natural highs. Hugh and I had some great runs together and the bugger just pipped me.
It was now gusting 35+ and super choppy and just too scary to sheet in. The reach back was scary through the channel chop!!!!!!! Came in a very happy little vegemite!!! Finally did it, woo hoo. Huge thanks to Sam @ Windsurfnsnow for his continued support.

Great fun!!!! Sailed down the coast with Troy and John!!! Massive fun, perfect conditions, all three of us got out at Hookipa first try
