Better wind today, started off ligth but it came in when the Captain arrived, sailed the Exocet 118l first with the 7.0 m and VSW 40, this combo felt great, then changed to the IS 97 with 7.0m and Bp WSP 38. I thought I cracked the 30 knts with the 7, hopefully next time .
Exocet 118l - Evo 6. (7.0m) VSW 40 - IS97 (7.0m) BP Wsp 38.
Great weekend -----Cheers B

Sailed IS117, Avanti 6.9 & Sting2 40.
First go with this combo, Seemed to work well in the gusty conditions
Made it easier to stay on the plane in the gybes with the patchy conditions.
Crazy place to sail with the amount of water craft to keep missing... from jet skis to 70ft flash cruisers..
Good fun with plenty of gybing practice..

JP Slalom VIII 96L, Select 33cm, EVO5 6.4m. My first go at Freerace and geez those guys are fast. I rigged a bit smaller to go the distance as this is my first windsurf for a very long time. Found out pretty quickly I need more time on water for fitness. Anyway it was a pretty good day out on the water with the other competitors and I've never seen so many other watercraft in one area. It was more of a challenge to dodge things than go fast. Not sure how many times I was lapped by Brad.... I'll wait to see the Freerace results where everyone ended up. Great to meet some new faces as well.
Cheers

3714 days ago Wellington Point, QLD,
Family picnic followed by a sail . Only brought the small sail but luckily i brought the big board aswell. Under done powerwise so experimented with less downhaul and tried a Vintage Finworks fin.... didn't fit correctly but other than that its a nice fin and such a thick cord... points really well and my knees felt every dimple in the water. Good to sail the incoming tide with the few people that were out. Focused on nailing some gybes today and was rewarded fully planning on most exits on the sheltered side....lol.
Loft6.3/jp66/ Retro Finworks 38.8 but repaired to a 36
Bring on the small gear weather

JPFunster 160l/6.7 Neil Pryde no cam sail/JP fin 38cm with a small amount missing!
This is first posting. May have had a few faster runs - and/or distance may have been greater. Still having problems with GPS - setting problems or something as I sailed until about 17:15ish - but file saved time is 15:25. Maybe that was when it was created. I am use top computer files saving time of FILE as when lost "save" occured.

3714 days ago Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Nash Freeride 6.5 and a Viper fin 34cm. Too late as usual so I only got the rough stuff and the wind had backed off a little. Just me David and Trevor sailing late, everybody else gone home.
