Had a good sail with Steve. Wind picked up later Steve had a pit stop for a smaller board I think.
I went in, had no time to rig smaller. Ok session. Had Fun.

Fanatic Skate 109TE, KA Kult 5.7, 23cm North Shore Wave Fin
Just sold my slalom sails and the 2015s havent arrived yet, so decided to take the freestyle/wave gear for a run. Pretty gusty, but the 5.7 has a lot of grunt and composre for a wavesail in the bigger gusts. Bumpy as a bastard which made it so much fun. Sailed with Dion and Stuart, Greg has just got out when I got there. Water nice and warm and full sun.................great hour sesh.

Phil Bennett (4130km):
3693 days ago Trial Bay, NSW, AU Lowest numbers, biggest smile. Tbay at it's best, 20-25 knots nor-east, super smooth head high sets and shallow flats for half the run. Stoked, best session yet on the RRD FSW and first go with the 5 Meter North Ice. I'm amazed at how smooth and easy that board gybes. Done one solid jump, landed a bit shite, tenderised the foot so got before any more carnage.
RRD 101, 5 meter North Ice.

3693 days ago 1 categories Another great afteroon sail at Queens Lake with Mark. Ne 12-18 knots. Used the ray 125 with 7.3m for the first 45 minutes, then wind picked up so changed boards to the f2 sx 105, and sailed up to the mud bank for the nice flat water. Day ended early with a bent spreader bar. Loving the nor-easters.
Ray 125, F2 sx 105, Hsm 7.3m Gps,Jp 36,31 cm weedies.

Top afternoon session with everyone at the point. Water warming up and a sunny windy day, so first outing in the springy. NE - NNE 15-20k inshore but windier out wide. Great to see Matt K get some water time, even if only a short one. Still getting away with a straight fin today, and felt very nice in the chop too. 93,30, 6.0.

Nice sail today just not enough wind for the 117L CA, 7.3m loft and 20cm delta.
Lots of people out Wayne said he counted 15!

Wayno (16997km):
3693 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - NE 15-18 knots so thought I'd use my 7.5 V8 + JP 112L + 21cm MUF and re-rig to smaller gear if I had to. Didn't have to and was powered up the whole session. A bit over powered at a few stages but felt OK.
Did notice that those with smaller sails were able to go quicker downwind whereas I was pretty quick going back the other way. Guess smaller is faster after all.
Sailed with the usual Budgie Boys - about 13 or more at peak times. Nice to see everyone out at the same time!
Cheers all.

3693 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Such a nice arvo. Crystal clear water covered in weed. Sweeeet!! Didnt really come in like we all hoped but was still awesome. Heaps of the crew out and some. Maybe should of been on the bigger gear but was still sweet. Snapped me hook on my harness half way through the sesh, came in and replaced and went out for just under an hour when she backed right off. Waaaa. 7.1 koncept 115 Patrik 22 delta. Go Marauders!!!! Huey.! Lets do this!!!!

3693 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Great to be back sailing with the Marauders. Sailed the JP Slalom ix 68 with sailworks NX7.1 and 20 delta fin. Matty D. Milsy, Mick and Bruce all got 32s. Well done guys, there wasn't much wind. How you cranked 32 out of it I don't know.

3692 days ago Booti Booti, NSW, AU. A lovely session at Booti. Nice wind, if a little up and down to start with, and good friends ejoying a 20 kt NE wind. 6m GTX and 102 Falcon were a good combo, but a small fin made it a bit hard to get upwind without spinning out. Good for the reflexes!
