Good sail at Queens Lake. Slow start with Ne 5-12 knots for the first hour , then went NNe 5-18 knots which was better but very gusty. Sailed up to the mud bank for the flatter water.

Ray 125, Hsm 7.3m Gps, Jp 36cm weedy.

Coomba Bay, NSW, AU

After a false start at the Point, the wind was coming in nicely at Coomba. Good turnout, with Pete, Rob, Bill, Anton, Chris and Tom. N- NNE at 15-28k. Not very flat and way too choppy, unfortunately, but worth the effort. 93,10.5, 6.0.

Wayno (16997km):

Gosford, NSW, AU almost the same as yesterday, very light NE 6-8 knots with occassional 10 knot squirt. NP 8.2 H2 + JP 122L + 36cm weedie. Sailed with Paul D, Paul C, and Cameron so that made it better sharing the joy.

Cheers All.

Freaking great big hill with freaking houses on it turning perfectly good wind to crap.  Freaking great big jellies all hanging out in a huddle to stretch up their little arms to grab my fin and sting my legs. Yell

Hey, sweet looking day for all

Well done up north, great speeds

Looking good Micky, Frothstar

Yeah, Yeah, Alright, Alright, Alright

Oh, yeah, pfffff Larry Homo, hehe, he was a great fighter, under celebrated, but he shouldnt have taken the fights with Ali, an aged Ali,

Beating him up, thats not good, Ali represented more than just a fighter to many, many people, so it really hurt the way Holmes is viewed

On boxing creditinals alone, he was a magnificent heavy wieght champion, made the most consective defences, was fast, tough, busy

But stuff him, LARRY, is in tribute to Larry Saunders, An odd looking comic genius,

I love watching comedy sitcoms, and in my opinion he was the poineer which lead to Sienfeld etc

I loved the Larry Saunders show, pffff, miles ahead of its time, and when i was in Chicago, I went and saw him live,

Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Larry Saunders, ......................Your the Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome Speeds Gabe & Anton!

Great effort Marauders.

Well-Done Mick passing 15,000 kms! Great effort Mate!

Larry in the Heavy weight Champions, my pick would be Rocco Francis Marchegiano. 49 Fights 49 Wins 43 KO's  0 losses!

Not many Fighters have or had a record like that! He retired The Brown Bomber ( Joe Louis )

Defended his World title 6 Times .He died tragically the next year (1956) after his last Title defence in (1955) in a Plane crash.

The World lossed a Great Fighter.

Well done Micky, great distance man, 15000kms..........thats massive, well done

Ha, firstly, the brown bomber was already retired.......like a lot of Rocko's challengers, he was old and way past his best

Rocky was a great fighter, massive will, heart, really strong, with limited athletism

He goes down as one of the great heavywieghts

The criticism is with he he fought and when

Bomber, old, Walcott, old, Ezzard, old, Archie Moore( Now that guy was great) old.....................................

he fought old boxers or young sluggers, but he definately tried very hard to avoid fighters with fast feet

He was powerful, derrrr, but lacked finesse, threw a lot of missed punches, threw a lot of crap, until the opponents were still enough to be smashed by the brockton blockbuster, a monster right hand hand thrown in a manner that would ensure if the glove missed the elbow would still connect

Rocko, was very small, small hands, but super fit, strong, determined fighter

He was a great champion and inspired many with his efforts

On boxing alone, he was limited in talent, avoided fast feet, was actually being beaten easily by Loius untill he scored KO,

Archie, basically a middleweight with real talent, stepped up to heavyweight, aged, and dominated Rocko, knocking him down, until Rocky KO him out

For me, as a boxing fan, Rocky represents a man whom was a great fighter, great champion,

I admire men like him, whom overcome the higher skill that comes with athlectic fineses, he overcame it via brutal strength and determination

49 and 0 is solid........................but the 49 wusses doesnt add up that well,

A poor mans Joe Frazier, without Smoking Joes movement and skill, personally, i cant believe people think he would have beaten Ali

Rocco Marciano Vs Archie Moore Fight.( Heavy weight Title Fight. ) Roccos last fight.

Archie was the rainning Light Heavy Weight Champion at the time of the title Fight.

Both weighed 188 lbs.

Archie knocked Rocco down for a 4 count in the second Round.

Rocco knocked Archie down 2 times in the Round 6.

Round 8 Archie was knocked down again and saved by the Bell.

Round 9 Archie was KO.

Marciano Had 3 of his Tille Fights voted by Ring Magazine as Fights of the year.

Alot of people didn't like him because of his Style of Fighting.

I liked him for the same reasons Larry liked him.

Super Strong guy. Would have Made a Great Speed Sailor! on an I-Sonic Laughing

I would love to see Lennox Lewis on a Speed Board. ( Another Great Fighter )
