I met up with Troy over at Kurnell for an early afternoon blast. Berowne popped in for a chat too. By the time it was well over 20 knots, it was time to head back to Kyeemagh, but it was pretty on-off.

The wind was so much stronger just off the end of the main runway, so I ducked around the corner to see if the other runway was any better. It wasn't too bad, short runs and a few fishing boats that I didn't want to disturb, so I came back after a few runs.

Quick sail down at Kurnell, for easy parking and a bit stronger winds earlier!

Sailed small, RS2 92L board, MauiSails TRX 6.3 and 31cm VMax fin.

underdone a little, spent some time drifting or slogging but good fun.

I think someone should write a song about my wondering ways... I've been every where man...

Wanted to try Peely in NE. Bloody good fun but pretty light. Water state, can you say LG?? Fark, it was flat and Im talking glass with the odd choppy bit out wide. Just me and Millsy at first just pushing upwind then bearing off, the locals said it was crap, I had a blast. Then Wayno and Ecka's (good to meet you) came out. Then Froth and Mick later. Warm and clear water, boardies and rashy, sweet!!

The wind started dropping off but you can see the potential in a strong nor-easter. So much fun, just armchair cruising at its best. Good to catch up the boys, very happy.

GRSC

FW training.

At ~8:30 into the sail, my fin broke.  This was my first and last session on the recently repaired fin.

I don't believe my max reading because this supposedly happened while I was sailing without a fin.

Paused the recording while I enjoyed a short jog to GRSC and back.

Good to see you after so long MT, and I think I agree with Troy on the new nickname.... Magic Mike (no wait that wasn't it... Maui Mike)
