Nice little one hour session in 15-18kt ENE. A few holes but sunny warm and flattish.
JP Super X, 6.5 Maui, 36 Special. Nice combo for the conditions although a bit underdone at times.
Good to see Andrew, Dave, Mike T, Tim, Remi and many more out enjoying the sailing.

The wind kicked in early, so Dave and I hit the water about 11:45, but it didn't relly kick in. I spent the first hour mostly slogging over to Kurnell and back. It was quite easterly, so we were just cruising up and down the runway.
On the third run, I hit a rope, that was floating right across the run for about 20 feet. After I composed myself, post-catapault, I went back to the rope and coiled it up as much as I could, and tied a knot then let the concrete weight sink it well below the surface.
Great day out with plenty of sailors, and not many jet skis

Futura122-Loft 6.6 O2-Stock fin
A little underdone with sail size choice
A lot of slogging early on and settled a patchy 20knts by 3~4pm
Happy with my first outing on the Futura but it could do with a better fin.
Nice afternoon on the water with Mike, Rexy, Pete and a host of others

Sweet day at Budgey. Fark that water is flat!! Very hard to judge gear size, went out first with 7.8 & 112. 3 long runs & uncomfortable holding sail down. Got a 35.12 but sail was lifting. Back infor 7.0 and 99 Falcon and smaller fin, bingo Millsy and I were pushing hard upwind and doing bear aways down the weed bank edge, just armchair fanging. You cant see the wind/gusts coming so its get set, bear off and go with it. Summer sailing at its best, warm clear water and heaps of fun. Got a few good gusts and just went for it, felt friggin' sweet. Great to sail with Johnny, Mick, Wayno, Old Pete, Johnno etc. Glad I made the trip, pb on this board for me.
Falcon 112, Falcon 99, Evo V 7.8, Evo IV 7.0, 25 & 19 weedies.

Rigged to cruise, not for speed. A lovely day on the water. Happy with distance, alpha and hour considering I was on my big gear.
