3637 days ago Nice to get out for a sail after missing yesterday and also good to catch up with Damo.
First chance to test new (to me) Tectonic F1 26cm and the Flying Objects Slalom 30cm I converted to a 26cm speed weed.
Best runs on the F1 and it felt solid off the wind but lacking a bit of lift upwind (as expected). Gave a 33 on the first run downwind without much effort.
The converted FO SW felt solid too and maybe a bit better upwind but forearm pump limited my chance to give it a full test (best run was a 29.9).
Pretty flat conditions with some strong gusts but not enough water over the sand bar to use the flattest water when bearing off.
Koncept was rigged with less downhaul than I normally use and had more drive given the better shape lowdown.
