Lake George, SA, AU

Had a great day sailing .Even had a few runs with Andrew Daff who was visiting from Sandy Point.Wind was nicer today and not as gusty so I was  running the show, not the wind.

Old Seatrend ATV 271 and 5m Sailworks revo ,Unifibre antiweed 24. Great combo today.

SS/E around 20 knots and some slightly stronger gusts. Sailed from a different spot (5 mile drift?) and not as for out to deep (knee deep) water. Middle of lake might be waist deep with 1 foot of silt and on the far side the water was nice and smooth about knee deep. This was where we were bearing off and got the speed PB..Smile

Ian we were sailing out from the spit today, where we met the other day. Was really good but probably more small chop than up the end of the lake where you were. We are here until Saturday if you are looking for someone to sail with

Congratulations on smashing 30 knots Ian!   Well done, really pleased for you!   And the 1 hr, alpha and distance too!

Now bear off DEEEEEEEPER.  Bear away, then bear away deeper again then deeper again.  Pretend you're on your formula board after going around the top mark trying to beat Barry to the finish Tongue out

Say hi to Jo from us and hope she has found a nice spot somewhere out of the wind.  haha.

Ian well done. Didnt realise you were posting your sails down there. Then again I would be keen to post numbers like that. Shame nobody else sailed on the 6th by the look of it.

The numbers still count though thats the main thing. You can afford to take a day or 2 off now, although 35 is now the new attraction.Smile

See you back at choppy Lake Mac.
