Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU   What a terrific afternoon! Smiles for everyone l am sure! At last over the 35 knot barrier though again l was hoping for more! Used the old 58 Sonic, 6.7 Overdrive and 19 Delta.

Nice arvo, fully cranked on 5.9, CASL62, MUF19, but under control. Heaps out, including Mick Saunders, the slowest rigger in the world, hope you got some good runs Mick, I had to leave.

Took an early mark from work and was rewarded really nice N/E er. Lots of fun on a 100l JP Freestyle and 6.2 Atlas. Pretty choppy out so not the quickest but a great buzz.

20-30kts Ne Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU -  1 run 6m OD + 79ltre FF + 20cms delta then 5m OD ( 1st real sail with it) and FF. Later 68ltre Starboard acid waveboard + 4.2m Sailworks Revo .

I was a bit anxious after my health scare and wanted to prove to myself I was ok.. Very happy Cool - no heart palpitations + I think a Board PB for the new Falcon. I still haven't hit upon smooth water and a good gust so there is potential to better that.

A year ago I would have done handsprings if I had  got that speed Laughing .. now I want to crack 34kts..Undecided

The first time I have actually tried for a NM.. I was worried it wouldn't be long enough as I ran out of wind for the last 100m  but was!

Yay! I expected a bit better as the 2 sec was 31.7kts for that run..

Gybe carves had a funny scalloped feel to them at times in the flat.. I've been told it was because I was trying to tighten them too much ( to waveboard radius to get alphas..). Ok I will have to concentrate on entering on a reach and exiting rather than on a broad reach..Also need to build up some speed before I bear off.. I tend to wait for a gust then just go for it..

Fun! I don't like my waveboards any more..Frown.. I was tired and not sailing as well + it was a bit too gusty for a sinked but it took me 3 or 4 legs to get upwind on the acid compared to one on the FF...Must admit the sinker feels much safer and more settled in the samll chop when overpowered. Did one bearaway..ok must be near 30kts.. what!! 27kts?? so much slower than the FF.

Lots out. Mat D , frothie ( a few runs with his 9m and then struggled back in very overpowered! ), Paul , Milsy, Mick, Pugs, Mat , Mick  S ,  Tibor , Bruce + others..

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

iSonic 125 Sailworks XT2 7.4 then Gaastra GTR 7

Another windy afternoon. Getting to like this holiday sailing stuff. Glenn said Marmong was full catamarans, but I turned up and they blew the whistle and shot through so had the place to myself.

Not sure what the wind strength was but it had to be 18 to 20, or at least that is what my back is saying.

Thank you Bisek! would be good to see you here. I can sympathise with you hovering just under that bloody 35knots mark! The first day l went out speeding l took a 75cm wide isonic and perhaps a 6.7 or 7.8m sail and l did 34+ knots. You think l could better it in a hurry? No! It took me a year to get less than 1 knot extra! Amazing stuff!....ist it? However we never give up!..do we!

Hey Tibor,

Well done mate. When you came in I asked how did you hang onto a 6.7 and you said the Severne felt so comfortable. They seem a good sail.

You looked good today and in control.

Glad you had a good sail Adam. You were looking good Pugs..I was too busy hanging on in the overpowered conditions to notice many other people! Wink

 Congrats  Geoff!

Hey Pugs Tibor's used to hanging on to 10m plus sails! The 6.7 prob feels like a hanky to him..Wink

Fangman .. too old.. although I can do spectacular cartwheels along the top of the water if i stack it in the shallow.. Mmm now that would make interesting go pro footage..Laughing Thanks Anita..
