Hey Greg and Pete, Thanks! Don't think I'll be able to improve my 2 sec with the weed fin I've got - it's only 29cm deep, but it's like 44cm on the rake! ... so too much drag I reckon. Other local sailors weedies are way smaller.  Didn't know I was the first Viking on Lake George yippee . The lake is not as flat as I thought. Apparently the weed hasn't grown back very well this year. The mud on the bottom is bloody crazy ! you go down past ya knees if you step off and theres only about half a metre of water on top , but good runs and consistant wind  Got  another few days so fingers crossed for more wind and maybe the loan of a smaller weedie !! would have been great if you guys could have joined me... maybe next time . Cheers for now
