Lake George, SA, AU    A lot more wind and chop today, stayed on the freeride gear to be safe.

Some big scores should be coming as most sailed over to the other shore.

                                   Tabou 95l Rocket   Loft 5.9 - 5.3 freeride

Not as good as last year.

20 - 25 knot SE.  Lots of crew out.  Tried the Five Mile Drift Speed run - very nice but no great speeds today.  More wind needed.

Unexpected strength in the wind today. Great for Five mile but had problems getting near 40kts. Felt really fast but the numbers didn't show that. The slalom board was the pick today. Had a really enjoyable sail with everyone. Hopefully even more wind on Thursday.

6.4 evo7, slalom board Chester, speed board Neil, 25cm and 20cm custom weed fins.

Lake George, SA, AU SE up to 25 knots, gusty. a bit patchy up at the drift.

Another great day at LG, more wind than yesterday. Started on the 80 and went up to 5 mile drift and did laps with MT. The 80 felt great off the wind, but I felt faster than the figures show - oh well!

Back to Cockies for lunch and decided to switch over to the speed board, but surprisingly this was a bit slower than the slalom board. The sail/board/fin combo felt very nice but energy levels caused an early exit.

Well done on the PBs guys! Tex, you are a legend! - my batten is all repaired now. Many thanks for the length of tube. There is some left which I will drop off with your hacksaw. Huge thanks!!! Still have a sore neck from head butting the batten... Hopefully fine soon. Shame to have to pack up early today, but Lari was being very patient in the car. Too windy for her and my neck didn't feel good. Can't post as we forgot to bring our lappy. iPads are great for most stuff but no USB...
