JohnM (4237km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU Typical end of the season desperation sail . CA75/7.6

Peter (Wineman) (3097km): Jimmy's Beach, NSW, AU Light wind 6-10 kts, slogged about on my gear then had a go on Ian R's *board LWR formula board with a 9m Point 7 sail. Now we were getting somewhere in the light wind. Good fun and always great to sail at Jimmy's. May play golf in the morning then have a sail. Could be tired so maybe the better half will drive home.
Gustfront (1903km): Callala Bay, New South Wales, AU A great afternoon on the water. 6.2 Koncept, Manta 61 and Fury 34.
Larko (11468km): Middle Creek Reserve, Narrabeen. Light sail that was kinda like the forecast. Aquapac had water in it and cant download. Just what was onthe display. GPS has been drying in the sun so hope its OK. Fun arvo with some cruisy runs on the big gear after the local sailing fleet pissed off. Falcon 125, Evo V 7.8, Sting II 44.
AlfaMale (19018km): Fun session at Kurnell, from about 4. Wind was a bit patchy/gusty, but the 7.7 TRX made the most of it, propelling my iSonic 90L to 30kts with the aide of a 35cm select fin. Comfortable enough with the sail rigged for full depth. I spent a bit of time in Quibray Bay, but mainly to turn around... the flat water was tempting but the wind always dropped off behind the trees & sand dune. Best fun was had in the flatish water for the long-runs towards dolls point. Chop under 5cm most of the time. Fairly tight angle to get back upwind thought! Made it to Ramsgate for 1 gybe. http://www.ka72.com/TrackRecalc.aspx?fid=104343 |
