Vando (58438km): Sandy Point, Vic, AU Well i never would have thought id get a pb on this trip let alone 2. Steve (BC crew) asked me on Monday after sailing can ya get thur/fri off work we going to sandy point of couse i said hell yer. The forecast was changing a fair bit wasnt looking epic but still good enough to head down. Got down at Sandy point Thur arvo wind wasnt that great but some good numbers and my first 40 for a long time. Most on 6.2s, We sailed pretty late and after packing up we headed to the cabin for a shower then back out for some grub but hangon shit everything shut down here by 8.30-9 nothing open and we were starving driving around for 30min trying to find somthing but no luck. So we decided to head out to Wonthaggi 9.30 by this time and there it was KFC and it was open but only just they close at 10 and we ened being kick up on the dot. Friday morning up at 5.30 nothing open so we skipped breaky and headed to the pit when we got there it was rainy, windy and F@#$% cold . Looked windier then the day before so rigged the 5.6 and headed out and wow it was windy had a few more runs to much power so i pulled some more downhaul which made the differance, couple more runs 44 then 44.5 then bang 47.64 whoohoo what a hell run and a 45Knot 500m another pb and that was it unfortunatly we had to packup and head back but what an adventure. Very hard sesh in the end but Sandy points not dead yet Big Thankyou to Steve for the invite and getting us there and back safely and also welcome to the 40 knot club mate. Big congrats to Leo first post and its a 44 thats unreal mate. Brad as usual great speeds mate. Gear Reflex5.6, IS49, C3 21Sweed
