XF98, RRD Fire 6.8 & 27 DSW - Now thats better!Cool Most enjoyable sail in ages! The Fire had heaps of drive and just as balanced as a T4. It worked well with the weedie and I forgot how good the delta weedie is when its not trying to chop my leg off!!Laughing Spent the session tweaking the boom height and moving the mast back, a bit to go but happy the board speed improved with each change. Only problem now is I need shares in Nureofen!! The knee is resembling a soccer ball at the moment! Yell

RRD Firestorm 101L with 6.5M T-bird & 30 Vector Weedy (weed magnet)

Safety Bay club day & Ted's 90th birthday.

Challanging day with a few races across the bay and weed being the main problem, kiters a close second Yell

Under powered for a lot of the day, it seemed windier than it was.

Eventually found my way up to Pengos & did a few runs between sandbars but the weed was worse up there.

Late in the day I rigged the Firewing 6.2M as some kind sole had left it with me to try.

Unfortunately couldn't get planing as the wind had backed off by then but I think it was more the weed than sail.

It rigged perfectly on the Tushy 400 skinny and rotated good after adding another inch of DH.

I will have another go at the Fiewing if the weather cooperates in the next week (thanks 2nd Wind)

It wasWink.  When I arrived I received the local greeting - male 40s holding up stubby shorts (with half his backside showing) with one hand and holding an alcoholic drink with the other!Surprised

He sat down next to one of the pine trees near another guy's gear and grunted something like: "Is that yours?". To which I replied no.Sealed

He got the hint and left in the manner he arrived. He drove down the rode to the toilets (probably without spilling a drop). That was fine, until I had to use them!Yell

It's defintely an eye-opening place.

At least he was polite enough to ask if it was your gear before he stole it 😄
