finally got out for a sail. bloody windy and bumpy on the bay. FSW gybes so so smoothly!

Damm GT-31 is rooted. full charge and batterty went dead, spent about 1.25 on the water.

New Record today.... @ the Tarren Point sandbar. 

DEEP into the danger zone, but it wasn't a rock that ended my session.... my 10yr old mast (Maui Sails 400cm) broke during a water start. 

Floated back to shore, using the upper half of the sail as a ... well as a sail to alter my course against the incoming current. 

Felt good while it lasted, iSonic 90L, VMAX 31cm fin and awesome MS TRX 6.3 well suited to the gusts, with the right amount of tension.

Pretty frustrating day - wind was on and off (mainly off) too much east in it for Canton making the runs very short (almost cross wind) Lightning/small hail/rain squals and very choppy when there was any wind.

It was nice to sail with Mike and Karl again. Mike and I chucked it in, and as we were derigging the wind came in - of course.
