Thought the wind would be a strong as yesterday's so went with the smaller combo but fin was too small and frustratingly couldn't get any traction upwind. Persisted for about half an hour but hesitantly made the call to come in and change up. Wasted about an hour but immediately glad with the bigger combo with the fin drive and being able to punch through the chop at the top end. Got back on the water just after 3 and just snuck an hour in before Justin closed the course.....of course I had to make sure Helga was okay at the top of the course so did a quick run up and back and one more short one just to annoy Justin  Glad I used my bigger boom and didn;'t have the clips popping like yesterday.
Great to meet some new faces and sail with a fabulous bunch of people.
