iS117W, 8.6RBlade, 42CL sl2 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU 11-15kn

Don't know where the wind went but it was reading 16-20 at 3.45 and by 4.30 after I hit the water with the iS107 and 7.8 it had really backed off.  Did one skunked run and came in and changed up.  Limited TOW but still always nice to get out after work.  Saved a juvenile 3ft seasnake in trouble at the water's edge - nearly stepped on it and thought it was dead until i prodded it with my luff.  Must've been a bit weak to get back out through the shore break but once I got it into deeper water it seemed to swim off okay.

Wind at Port D was generally light except when the squals came over and then it was crazy. Spent most of the day  just powered up enough to keep on the plain.  The first squall at lunch time was in excess of 25 knots and my 7.0 Gator was riged for 13 knots. I got blown right down the beach. By 3.00 the wind was back at a steady 15 knots, so I had a few powered up runs and a down wind blast infront of the next squall. This time my rig was flatter so managed to make it back to the beach ...Just..  Andrew joined me for the afterlunch session  and luckelly he was on the beach when the second squall hit.
