Tested the back today in warm gusty NW. Found some good speed out the back on the flat but lots of lulls in between. Went searching for the best ground and later in the session were rewarded as the wind filled in. Sammy the seal has a mate and were sunning on the spit. Had to water start in the deep a few times on the gulf side today but no problems. Tricky ran aground late and has some damage on the 87. Great day with Tricky.

Cheers for the cokes Richard.Smile.

Lake George. Good numbers out about 12 sailors. N-NW 20 plus much stronger than forecast. Rigged 5.2 Hellcat on Ecercet 58. Overpowered changed down to 81L Fanatic Goya wave board, magic, more control felt great. Really enjoyable afternoon with a good crew, some faces haven't seen for a while

WoW what a day, Started out smoking out on the first run following hoppy & ran aground & over the handle bars, only 1cm longer fin Embarassed

Just Hit 32 Knts & couldnt better it Hoppy had a high 32 on the same run out, after  2 Hrs we decided that a cold drink would be in order (not aclimatised to this warm weather) No sooner had Hoppy sculled his water & he was back into it, in hot persuit I headed back out & Hoppy snuck out between the leases leaving me wallo-ing I  made a seconed run to join Hoppy on the smoothest bit of water all day. Wow was that a blast, pitty it didnt last longer & the wind better behaved!Undecided It was so up & down, Up & down Hoppy could be 300m away smoking while I was not even planeing & versa vicea we both smoked each other while the other was wollowing in the duldrumsSurprised Gusty Northerlys, It was nice to come in & still feel your feet, but I might be a bit sun burnt EmbarassedLaughing Isonic 87. Worst sail I have had for a long time. Cry Couldn' get going in the stong gusty Northerly. Board too big for this wind strength. On checking fin for mud found it was loose even though screw was done up tight. Screw too long for this fin. Added a couple of washers and got a couple of over powered runs but Iwas stuffed by then.

That was a quick sails 2 runs then the wind dropped out on me...I was happy to get off the water as was knackered for some reason. Rigged for the stronger gust so was gluugging most of the time.

I might take this opportunity to thank some of our team members who have left us.

I was saddened to see PJ, Jimbob, Carl and Sam have left, but i must say that, on a pesonal note, i have enjoyed their effort and company.

All good windsurfers, especially Sam and Carl with their skill and speed. Jimbob, the Sea and lake specialist and PJ the distance king.

Good luck in your new Teams

It's a sad day
