Nathan rigged and ready to go on 5.5m as I arrived a bit after 1:30 and seemed ok, maybe a little under, so rigged 115l/6m. OK to start with and wind climbed gradually to well powered by the time we came off the water after 4pm in a warm sunset over lit up docks. Loads of wind forecast but 6m was fine; I thought maybe offshore took some forece off it but on the sea wind was a little x-on.
OK choppy until current changed then even flatter. Great fun riding in and out. Could have used 96l but concerned wind might switch off. Got a few small jumps in and happy with that. OK keeping up wind even when wind with current, and only hit one lobster line. Water seems to be getting warmer! 3* at start, 4* for most of session and 5* at end.

The forecast wind did not kick in until around 2pm and the angle was SW 236 deg so better port tack really.  I only have starboard asy fins so manged to do some runs at the top end of the course and getting peaks around 42kn but it was difficult to get 10sec runs in the short space.
